Lillies

An early start and off down the road for the funeral.  We watched the sun rise which was lovely, though it made driving tricky at times as it was so low in the sky.  We were first to arrive and Grandma was waiting on us.  The rest of the family arrived soon after.  Uncle J took BB and his cousins out for brunch, and  I went out to stretch my legs while TT and siblings made sure they were all organised.

The service was lovely with  TT, his sister and one of his nieces delivering the eulogy – each sharing their own memories.  A touching send off, attended by a huge number of family and friends.  M would have been delighted with the celebration of his life. 

Grandma’s house is filled with beautiful flowers.
