Snow blanket

Today has been a real pain. I spent a large part of it trying all sorts of things in an attempt to figure out why I suddenly have been unable to send emails to a good friend the last few days. Unfortunately I'm still none the wiser and I cannot think of anything else to try!

Because of this problem I was late arriving at the sanctuary and I didn't have time to look for a blip before my walk with one of the dogs anymore. This afternoon I walked the large male Turkish Shepherd dog Jimmy who made me laugh when he started to play with the snow. He's so big that he's as tall as I am (1m68) when he's standing on his hind legs with his front paws on my arm but he looked just like a huge playful puppy when he was enjoying the snow!

During our walk I needed to stay alert for any other dogs that might appear so I could only take a few very quick shots with the compact camera then. I'd hoped to be able to look for something better after the walk but it was already getting too dark by then. I chose this one out of the few that was able to get earlier.
