Take Off

The short winter Christmas break finished today. While sitting in departures the captain of our plane came in to inform us that due to fog at Schiphol our flight would be delayed. He suggested we board in case the fog cleared earlier and we got clearance to depart.

There was low cloud at Zurich, but we very quickly cleared the cloud and the sky was clear for most of the way to Amsterdam. This picture was taken maybe ten minutes after we left Zurich, maybe we are already over Germany.

The flight to Aberdeen had been delayed by fog also, so I made my connection. When we arrived in Aberdeen we were only 15 minutes later than ou scheduled arrival time. A lot of traffic on the way into Town.
