Rain-washed....

This pretty pink dahlia has started flowering in our garden. It has enjoyed the rain, heavy at times, we have had over the last two days. Some parts of the South Island and now the North Island have endured wild, rainy, thundery weather. In fact the effects have been devastating in some areas with main highways closed by flooding and slips on both the east and west coasts of the South Island. The North Island has had thunder storms and copious rain with consequent flooding. Stay safe people....
