MORE MISSIONS NEEDED....

.... another smoky day and the fires really are set to become an issue in the next couple of days. Although today mild by comparison - Tuesday as mentioned yesterday is forecast to be a "blaster"!

Caught a shot late arvo of this new plane put into the Rural Fire Service  "arsenal" this  year. It has been another strong reason why they have been able to in some way hold the severe conditions at bay.
Also heard on the TV tonight the fronts of the four major burns in the Wollemi National Park, have finally joined forming a massive front. 
Residents around East Kurrajong not far from here, have been advised by the Rural Fire Service that evacuation is on the cards should the winds change in their direction. That's not what they would want to hear. 
Also at present 16 homes have been lost around the State and many sheds  etc.
