Playing and building

Chatted over breakfast until Isabelle arrived and we exchanged presents and played with the play doh and slime she’d brought AR for her birthday, then they all headed for a walk on the beach whilst I caught up on some work and tidied up, then we met for lunch at the local pizzeria. Delicious pizzas as always and the staff were really friendly to the kids. Home and after Isabelle left we started building the kitchen chairs (a faff!) and Mt fitted my hall lights and helped drill walls to add mirrors and heavy pictures. H helped put the decorations up and I realised I’d thrown most of mine out....just a lot of fairy lights left!
Mx enjoyed playing in the big boxes that were around as we unpacked things and he and AR were very helpful as they love fixing things so everyone had screwdrivers and Allen keys!
After they’d had supper we settled down with French 75 cocktails and some nonsense on TV, chatting about what presents we have to get organised with....in my case pretty much everything!
