Don’t really know where today went....was in the office with non stop meetings although all but one on screen. We had not only my brownies but also L’s frangipane mince pies to nibble on...we’re becoming quite the local bakery round here!
All very full on with planning for managing the imminent new government guidelines for next semester...at the end of one briefing for people I ended by saying that there was only so much we could discuss when we didn’t know any of the answers....feeling again like it did at the start of all this when we had to develop several different sets of plans for all eventualities.
Home to do some catching up whilst making soup for the rest of the week, then heating up fish pie for dinner which I finished just in time for book group. We’d been reading The Authenticity Project which we almost all saw as undemanding nonsense destined for a Richard Curtis rom com but C hated with a passion....always good to have a range of views as it makes for a lively discussion!
No chance for photos today so I’ve gone for a blip of my lovely advent card from Winsford having seen her in book group...loved that an early window showed a red squirrel given her recent spotting of them around Pitlochry!
