Patchwork

This is the patchwork cushion that featured in my Thursday abstract. It was then so unrecognisable I thought it should have a proper blip. It is recently finished. I enjoy this type of patchwork because it is hand sewn, and I can sit and sew away quietly in the evening. I enjoy putting together the different fabrics, some with memories of long ago projects.
I had hoped to spend time in the garden today, but by the time I was free to go outside there was a cold wind so I stayed indoors and baked a cake instead. I am a fair weather gardener.
