It's getting to be a lot like .....

Christmas!!

I was disappointed that Y and G didn't have their tree up but they did have some hanging Santas.  

Really good night sleep (aided by fizz, white and red wine?) then breakfast and a chat with Y.  G took Ruby home and Issy to her dancing exam and outside the back wall fell down, unheard.  Not good news for my hosts.

Then a relatively slow journey home, in torrential rain.  It was the League Cup Final at Hampden (Celtic v Rangers, Celtic won, 1-0) so it was a slow drive past the police presence to the M74.

Home, a brief sit down and a walk along the road to the neighbours' Christmas get together.  Very pleasant. even if I didn't win a raffle prize. And then some arithmetic calculations before an evening of relaxing.  Tomorrow I get back to 'the list'.
