Skate Park Detritus

Good evening Blipsters. Can I call you that?

Well I guess the obvious choice of photie today would be snow, but I took this this morning, just before the snow started to really fall. As parents to 2 teenage BMXers (2 out of our 4 kids) hubby is on the local skate park committee and takes turns to go and inspect, check for needles and clear up rubbish. I went to help too today. They're good kids in Brigg, for the most part, and no needles have ever been found. And actually they're pretty respectful of their hard won space - the council were threatening to close it down a couple of years ago, and the town's kids and committee worked hard to raise the money for new ramps.

See? Sometimes communities come together really well.... Different worlds, different age groups, one hard earned goal.

So this is the rubbish I collected :-). I'm sorry it's skew but I had so much to do today that it had to be a grab shot.

The snow did come as forecast, and then stuffed up my WI talk for this evening. Booooo !
