Road to the Mountain

It has been quite an exciting day.  You see, Wanaka now has a second supermarket.  I went to have a look, and it is huge!!  I felt completely lost with so many isles to walk up and down.  I am sure over time I will get used to its size.

The first extra is of the track beside the lake, and the second extra is of our famous tree.  The lake is slightly lower, but the roads along the lake front are still closed.

This morning I had a cuppa with my church friends, then after lunch I got the lawns mown.  Feel good about that.

This blip is beside the Cardrona River.  The river ran high, but didn't flood.  I hope to get a vintage car in this scene in the next day or two.
