Open door day ....

A wild day, very wet and very windy.
An expensive afternoon too. Got out the tractor at the top of the yard, went to open the gate and there was an extra strong gust of wind followed by an explosion of glass. Bugger.
Phoned Rickerby’s to order up the glass and door frame, then phoned the insurance, as they reckon there won’t be any change out of £1200 by the time it’s fitted . When did things get so ridiculously expensive ?
That’s one of last week’s show cattle gone already ! And as it happened with the boss I can’t even give anyone a bollocking to cheer myself up .
