Madeira Flora

When we came to Madeira the first / last time, we emerged from a levada walk to see a brand new cable car running without passengers. It was newly built and being tested. Now, seven years on, we've ridden on it. First, we rode up in the original cable car, then on to the newer one to reach the botanical gardens. Wonderful flowers, trees and birds. The colours are so brilliantly vivid.

Just loving this heat and beauty and family, too. Lucky us! Sending you warmth and sunshine ....
