Resistance Is Not Futile

It continues from this darkest of days until this nation (in whatever form it might be at that time) is considered sufficiently qualified to rejoin the civilized nations of the European Union.

Forgive us, our European friends, for many of us did aspire to be good friends and neighbours. The matter of a 22-mile sea barrier and an ages-old chauvinism among what appears to be a majority, albeit rather slim, of our population seems to have captured the moment.

Like your descendents in the Second World War, we must now learn to adapt to the current regime and its inhumanity. We must learn to resist however we can and to carry the hope within our hearts and souls that sanity will one day be restored.
