We, and our shadows ....

Snow me down!

It started snowing quite persistently yesterday teatime and was enough for David to bin his run and for me to decide not to go to choir.

Here in East Anglia we have seen the worst of the snowy weather which has caused lots of disruption on the roads, especially around Norwich.

For me though, it has been a glorious day!

We had several hours of bright sunshine in the morning, so I decided to brave it and take Harris to the UEA.

The snow on the open fields would have reached Harris's armpits, so to make it easier for him, we kept to the quiet woodland paths which saw far less snow cover. We didn't see a soul, but we did see the souls of a rabbit, five horses and numerous birds.

What a fabulous walk we had. I saw beauty in everything I looked at and all my photos could have been my Blip entry for today.

The bright sunlight was casting these long shadows and I just love this shot of me and our Little Man! Hope you do too!

It's just a shame I can't share my other photos with you. I took some lovely ones of the horses. I will use them later I think, as a subject for my painting.
