AbstractThursday233 Colourful

Today's weather was anything but colourful, with stormy grey skies and heavy rain, coupled with the fact that it now gets dark by 4pm even on a bright day. Such wet conditions made it less than ideal for my monthly visit to my hairdresser:  I do like to get a couple of hours looking groomed and  respectable!  Luckily Daughter #1 offered to pick me up from outside the salon to save me the 6 minute walk to the car park that might well have ruined my freshly styled hair.
It was in Sainsbury's car park that I did find some colour today. My shot is of the street car and store lights reflected in the road surface and edited just a little to give a rather impressionistic feel.

In other news, I went to the polling station today to cast my vote in the UK's General Election.  I do not discuss politics on Blipfoto,  but I would just say that I hope that many will choose to take part in the democratic process: better to go to the ballot box and spoil your paper than sit at home and do nothing.
