Day 265 Cheerful

The baubles at least are cheerful as they wait to be loaded onto the fresh tree in the living room.  They didn't actually make it today as Mr MC was rather later back than planned from his last hockey match before Christmas and I'm currently not trusted to scale the ladder to put on the top ornaments without some else being present!
The weather has yet again been relentlessly grey, cold and wet.  I'm appreciating more and more the three wonderful heatwaves that we had during the initial weeks of the lockdown.
In other news: not much on the coronavirus front, especially as it's the weekend.  Instead, as we hurtle towards 31 December, the UK's final day as a member of the EU, the question of Brexit has once again come to the fore and whether we will leave with a deal or no deal:  The latter is beginning to look more likely.
