Here's lovely Joni Mitchell to encourage us along on this grim old day-after-election with Shadows and Light.

My dear pal Birgit who has fled to Germany unable to tolerate elections  ( been here 50 years paid her tax's never got a vote ! ) any longer, posted me a parcel before she left. I opened the card, saving the parcel for Xmas day, out fell a Birgit star, telling me I am truly her golden star. Just what I needed after yesterday's debacle. It's hanging next to my reading spot.

Oh dearies, do let us not despair, stick to kindness. Heraclitis said " every thing flows ", we will surely flow out of this clusterfuck.
