CPN Ashley came to me early and was as ever useful. I then legged it around to the Polling Station where there was a huge queue ( hoorah ) but only one harassed woman checking registration.!!
Leaving I helped an old frail lady across a difficult road. She was on her way to vote too but access was made tough by a closed pathway. I hurled myself into the road with her and defied the traffic to run us over.
I then legged it for a bus and swimming : such a good place to work off rage.
