Summit
A marvellous six hour walk today with two former colleagues, if that is you count the 45 minutes having John Smith's Bitter and delicious Steak and Guinness pie at the Border Rose.
We started walking around Watergrove, which was beautifully still and very icy.
We then climbed up and over Ramsden Hill, dropping down towards Walsden past a lovely small lake.
After lunch we walked along the Rochdale Canal, towards the Summit, of what is rightly known as the Everest of Canals.
A beautiful day.
