Small is beautiful

My elder daughter and husband are with us this weekend and we have been treated to both sunshine and snow.  There was a light covering in Grange this morning but as we drove towards Kendal it was clear that they had had a bit more.  We visited Low Sizergh Barn and then returned home via Great Langdale and Coniston so that we could see more of the snow clad hills.  As it turned out Langdale had less snow than Kendal but the views were still very pretty and wintery.

The picture is taken at Low Sizergh Barn where the sign seemed very appropriate for my daughter who is as vertically challenged as I am!
