Once bitten........

We took a walk to see those "cute" micro pigs at the top of Scholes Lane. So cute that Prue took them a goody bag of apple slices and carrot chunks. 

They repaid her kindness by nipping her finger and drawing blood. So it was a trip to the NHS walk-in centre in Halifax to get the finger checked out. Antibiotics were prescribed. 

The  walk-in centre is under threat of closure.  Although the place was busy with a dozen or so people waiting to see the two doctors, we were in and out within an hour. Full marks for the NHS. Presumably if it closes most of the patients will just end up at A&E.
