Agnus Dei

This carved Agnus Dei is to be found in a cupboard in the labyrinthine structure that form the rooms and stairs of Castle Fraser.

This "hidden" carving is a reminder of past times when religious persecution was rife and violent throughout the land.

The light level was decidedly on the low side, however, it is amazing how images can be "saved".
