Christmas Wreath

The Christmas Decoration programme continues, and today’s Blipfoto shows the wreath on the main entrance door.

We joke that this door is used for "ceremonial occasions" only such as weddings and birthdays.

It also faces into the prevailing wind, and when open it quickly cools the house down. Not very energy efficient. Also opening and shutting it is not easy.

We use the door that the minister or preacher used when he arrived to preside over a service. It is a more normal size and is sheltered from the wind.
