.... Holiday Light Spectacular!

We had a mixed bag as far as weather goes today.  We knew that the rain was due to arrive mid-morning and continue into the afternoon .... so we got out early for a walk at Housenick Park.  We had the park to ourselves.

And shortly after we returned home it did start raining.  The temps were moderate with tonight being the warmest it was going to be all weekend. Each year the Lehigh Valley Zoo puts on a beautiful light display throughout the zoo.  We had never been before tonight but since we are members now we decided to check it out so we were keeping an eye on the rain.

The rain finally stopped some time around supper time so we were able to get out for this light spectacular!  It was strange being at the zoo after dark but the light displays were beautiful.  I have added a collage with some of the other sights.  And some silly Saturday pictures as well.  Richard is always such a good sport posing for me with silly things!
