the storm came - again, striking in the night - into this morning - leaving us covered in snow - it feels as though we’ve - had more snowfall in this - last month than we did - all of last winter - which, when i allow - myself to think about it - means what for the upcoming - winter months when the true - depth of winter hasn’t - even struck yet

and although i struggle - to make ends meet - it makes me ever so grateful - for four walls to call my own - a bed at night - and food every day - when i know very well - our homeless population is struggling - even more than me - there are lots of programs - in our community where you can donate - used clothing and/or warm coats - for these winter months - when it’s so desperately needed - think about doing that - where you live - you might be able - to change someone’s life - or at the very least - you’d really make it...
