disguised as a christmas - cactus bloom in red - do you recall those - candies of old? - perhaps they’re still around - today although i am not - much into that sort of thing - so i don’t know - but back in the day

my daddy had a job - where he made lots of contacts - so during the holidays - he received a plethora - of gifts from said contacts - would bring them home for the family - to enjoy and inevitably one would - be this colorful tin filled - with a mixture of various sized - ribbon candies all individually wrapped - and we were simply enthralled - by the swirls and whorls of that candy - let alone the taste of it - every year we looked forward - to him bringing that special tin home - for us as a treat

such simple pleasures - kids can enjoy - the wondrous memories a plants bloom - will evoke from so many years ago - can all lead to...
