Sparkly Little Skater

Here is Amelia with Granddad, watching the skaters in the other groups perform before she is due to go one ice. 

After falling flat on her face in the rehearsal tonight, her actual perfomance was beautiful and absolutely perfect. 

The whole show was to the highest standard and the skaters ranged from 5 years old to adults. One of the older girls is the British champion and one of the young men is a Disney on Ice performer. 

It's wonderful to see these youngsters working so hard to hone their on ice skills - on average they are at the ice rink 5 times a week. 

Our little skater is tucked up in bed now.

We are proud Grandparents tonight ;-)
