Hard Times

Father Xmas has had to ditch the sleigh and reindeer and go for a boat and human helpers this year!  
The Exile and I had a lovely walk round the estate of Cotehele and saw the rowers having their Christmas row! We went for a drink in the cafe and got excited at the menu of potato wedges with brussels sprouts and chestnut slaw - but the slaw had sold out! I had hot spiced apple juice instead!
