Wound up in Wexford

Trees

We drove down to Stutton again today, to pick up my old flute, which has been completely refurbished.  It's had all the bits that wear out replaced - pads, felts etc, and I'm assured it plays nicely now - I can't try it out to check.

We stopped off in the Community Shop for coffee and cakes - the flute repair man had recommended the chocolate brownies when we were there 5 weeks ago, but they'd run out that time.  Today we were able to sample them, and agree that they are really rather nice.  It was interesting to chat to the ladies serving in the shop - all the cakes are home made, and the shop is entirely staffed by volunteers.  If there is any profit after paying the bills, this is given to local charities.

The trees are on the wall behind the counter - made by a local artist from some left over wood and cardboard.
