A bush in the yard - but will it blossom?

S came early this morning and cut down an overgrown hedge at the bottom of the garden.  We then carried all the offcuts up to the yard, and created a large pile - there's a window to our living room behind that pile!  I suggested that we had very rapidly grown a large bush in our yard, but S said he didn't think it would blossom this summer - what a shame!

Anyway, D came later in the day and took it all away - see extra for the "squashing dance" - he got all the foliage, and some more that we hadn't carried out into the yard, onto the back of his truck.  He came back for the bags of stones and other rubble, as that needed to go to a different place.

Cutting back the hedges and clearing all this stuff has made a big difference to the garden.
