Bowness

-1 and foggy this morning so decided not to go off to Bowness then 2 hours later decided it was not too bad so off we went. Once we'd got past the chaos of road works outside Ulverston  the roads were very quiet and the car park was half empty.  
A stroll down past the lake, the view was a lot bleaker than when we were last there but took my photo for Wide wednesday ( and a photo  of other people taking photos of the same view) There was a large coach party of people from China. Lots of smiles at Fletch in his quilted coat. 

A relaxing light lunch at The Angel.  Dog friendly and a very pleasant atmosphere.

The rain arrived as we got back to the car.. good timing . Traffic from Greenodd to Ulverston was extremely slow.. kept coming to a standstill, We went home along the coast road to avoid the lights by the Beehive roadworks, but a lot of other people had the same idea. Its times like this that I wish we didnt live at the end of a very long cul de sac
