"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag!"

So sang Mary Poppins...or someone like that. Lol 
A bit dearer than 2p nowadays.. but not too dear from Pets at Home.  The bird feeder has been popular,  especially with the sparrows, but Mr robin is still about and the odd blackbird. Its lovely to watch them, often waiting in line for their turn to eat ( pecking order!) Fletch seems quite fascinated watching them too.

Walked Fletch in the dry and the sun seemed quite warm today. Then home to cross fingers before managing to re connect the  not always reliable powerline so that we can access t'internet in the lounge and on the tv. It was a trifle annoying for it all to go off just at the most exciting part of last nights film. 
The problem of living a house with stone walls 2ft thick!
When theres not much on the telly it's good to have the option of choice on iplayer, Amazon prime and Netflix.

Out to lunch at Abbey House with our friend J who is up in Cumbria for Christmas. A nice relaxing afternoon,  then a less relaxing drive into town through pouring rain to get  some more  bird food. The plan was to go today as it would be hectic tomorrow .. known as black eyed Friday as everyone breaks ip for the holidays. Looks like everyone else had chosen today to go shopping. 
Back home,  nice and warm and ( fingers crossed ) a film on Netflix.
