Focussing on the light beyond

A metaphor for life, not what does or doesn't come afterwards, despite spending two hours this morning having a long and interesting conversation about how attitudes to our mortality affect our lives.

I went to see The Cave this afternoon, a documentary about a secret hospital operating underground in besieged Eastern Ghouta in Syria. An absolutely astonishing and heart-rending film. You will need fortitude if you choose to see it. Those in it have no choice.
