BACKBLIP: Too early for primroses!

I was a bit shocked to see a patch of primroses in flower, first spotted on New Year's Day and photographed here on January 3rd. As this is before I have even seen any snowdrops in flower, this is WAY TOO EARLY! What is going on? Climate change?
