Advent in the Fens - Day 4

Ely Cathedral Octagon Lantern

After a very sleepy morning, forced myself out and took the bus into Ely where I spent the afternoon Christmas shopping, before meeting M after work to visit the cathedral and its amazing Christmas tree. Each year the tree seems to be even bigger and even more beautiful than the year before. My festive day was rounded off with a visit to a pizzeria. Unfortunately there were no Christmas tree-shaped pizzas on the menu!

(Found it impossible to choose my favourite view of the cathedral, so have added lots of extras so you can choose your own favourite, along with some more classic views of the cathedral, and a collage of Ely at Christmas!)
