Christmas is coming

Made it! My ridiculous journey has finally come to an end and a real Christmas tree has just been put up in the hostel. It smells fantastic and suddenly Christmas becomes a reality, chilly wind, comfy sofas and everything feels a bit like home again. So, so glad to be here, people are incredibly friendly and chatty and I know what they are saying!
It’s been a sleepless few days as I haven’t acquired the skill of sleeping on planes yet so I am going up to my cosy bed now and am excited about getting under a duvet again. More tomorrow about the joys of a cooler climate.
