Cards on the beach

This is the view from our verandah along with the card game :).

This morning we were awake early again- we have another 3 hours of jet lag to contend with. So we got up and sat on the verandah and watched it get light. We played more cards today and then watched the first half of the first Lord of the Rings film- I want to see them before we travel around New Zealand so that I know what Sam is talking about.
In the afternoon we swam in the swimming pool for a little while and then relaxed and read on the verandah. Just as we were going to bed we saw a big bug in our room- so Sam chased it around for a while and finally managed to get it. It was horrible- but also very funny to watch.
