A Batty from Batty Grove

This is a close up of a Bat Flower.......perhaps one of the most unusual Flowers I have ever seen.
My friend has a whole grove of them...they only grow in perfect conditions....dark and damp...they love........ and at her place they are just booming.

The two creamy white petals at the top bend over to protect the flowers and seeds if too much sun or too hot..........the flowers start off like little spears before opening and long strands come from the bottom of flowers like very long cats whiskers.....the leaves are the most glorious glossy green.

When this is made into a flower essence it imparts great feminine wisdom and illuminates the place where we hold hurt and betrayal so that we can start to heal those hidden feelings we carry around.
