Up Out of The Fog
After all the lovely rain we had yesterday, the ground is very damp and still warm from recent hot weather. This gave rise to summer fog very early this morning. It was quite eerie up on the Wither Hills before dawn in these foggy conditions but fortunately the fog cloaked the Wairau Plain and most of Blenheim and did not spread too far up the hills. The contrast after bright sunny mornings was amazing.
I hope to get up the hill again tomorrow morning but alas, rain is forecast. If it is raining in the morning I will content myself with taking the doggies for walkies along the Upper Taylor.
