The Road to the Isles

A fairly dull day, but it remained dry for most of it.  By teatime, showers started, and been raining all night.

I've been working on the museum desk again today.  The door is still broken, and thankfully a quiet day.  Mad Friday for some tonight, me? I'm enjoying the peace and quiet by the fire.  I did get out with Sammy, and got wet.  

I had to drop off a parcel at lunchtime, and rushed quickly down the road.  A quick detour and a stretch of the legs, I came across this old bus, an old bus of Jamieson's, Cullivoe, Yell, reg HPS 28P.  The moto 'The Road to the Isles' is no longer needed, ad this old boy won't be moving anywhere soon.  This isn't the only vehicle abandoned here, another bus, and many more cars.  Taken at Broonies Taing, Sandwick.
