The canal from Spring Street bridge.
It is milder than recent days so I went out early to deliver a Christmas card to some friends who live the other side of Rishton. They are pastors of the Christian Fellowship and I have known them for as many years as we have lived in Rishton. I first met them when they owned a Christian Bookshop on the High Street. This took me quite near to the canal and this lovely shot.
I then did a bit of shopping at the Co op, and went in search of a catnip stocking for Arthur but no one had one. I did buy a beautiful biscuit barrel and some candles as presents.
So Paul and me are going to The Range later on this afternoon to hopefully get Arthur's gift..
The elves are sleeping and have generally been no trouble.
I was thrilled when Paul took me to buy my Christmas present, long black boots. I think they will be very useful if it gets colder or snows.
Thanks for dropping by blip friends and have a good Saturday.
