Footiesaurus

This morning I received this lovely Christmas card from my son and family. It's a dinosaur (my 3 year old granddaughgter loves them) the body of which is her footprint. Such a clever idea. This is last year's card, but the prints will be much bigger this year of course.  It's something precious to treasure.

The son of a neighbour did some electrical work for me and I popped round to take his money for doing the job.  His dad was in and gave me some homemade damson and redcurrant wine that he'd made, a kind gift that I'm looking forward to sampling.  He did offer me some of his 40% proof homemade fruit gin but I thought that if I did the mince pies that I was going to make might turn out a bit tiddly squiff!
