A  long day. ... with a silly amount of driving. 

Woke up at 4 a.m. - couldn’t go back to sleep so got up at 4:30. Was due to get up at 5:30 anyway. 

We left home around 6:15, dropped the dog off in Doncaster then drove to Bedford to see Mrs madwill’s mother. Spotted this knitted Nativity in the lobby of the retirement village that she lives in. Only photo taken I have taken all day, but perfect for Silly Saturday - , thanks to Admirer for hosting again

We had coffee in their lounge area and then went out for lunch and back for another coffee.

We set off north again around 3 p.m, collecting the dog en route. Arrived back 6:30. Knackered now. Fortunately beers were placed in the fridge before we set off this morning. I believe we will be repeating the trip to Bedford, with the granddaughters, next week!

Not had a chance to catch up on Friday’s journals, but I have them saved to catch-up over the weekend
