Budleigh sunrise
It was five years ago that I first met fellow clipper 28DegreesNorth on the beach here at Budleigh Salterton and we decided we should repeat this today. Fortunately the clouds were disippating as I arrived and the wind wasn't as strong as the previous few days. Birds were flying in from the sea and several dog walkers greeted me as I walked along towards Ottermouth. After a quick catchup chat we walked down onto the beach setting up the cameras before the sun rose. A lovely time of day but the cold wind was getting to us and we both had Christmas chores to do so we quickly said our goodbyes.
A sunny morning but by the time lunchtime came and we were meeting up with friends in Exmouth it was raining quite heavily. We found a nice warm cafe though and spent some time catching up with each other and speculating on what next year would bring. It was raining again as we left. Not surprisingly the fields around the River Otter are all flooded, we have certainly had a lot of rain recently.
