Feral Choir
Today's the day …………………….. to perform
Concert No 2 tonight for The Feral Choir - and this time it was on home turf in Kirkcudbright.
It all went very well - because they are a very relaxed, happy lot - and they can sing a bit too. There were some readings and stories by the brilliant David Francis to add a bit of variety, with mulled wine and mince pies in the interval.
One of the songs we sang was a version of 'I saw three ships' which has the following lines -
'I saw a ship with satin sails, and masts of solid gold
There were comforts in the cabins, and apples in the hold ……...'
It could just be my imagination - but I'm sure that ship was the one I saw recently in Kirkcudbright harbour ……………………..
