Christmas Card
Today's the day ……………………….. for greetings from afar
I so love getting cards at this time of year.
We make a real thing of it in this house. They can only be opened over a cup of coffee when both of us are there. It's nice because it makes you think about whoever has sent the card - and often, if they've written a bit, it's a chance to catch up with what's been happening in their lives.
It's specially nice if the card has come halfway across the world, like this one from Mrs F. It's one of her beautiful pictures on the front of it - and you know that she has sat in her house in New Zealand and written it - just for us.
How lovely is that …………………….?
