Candles in the kitchen

They get in the way a bit but why not. I'm not cooking for anyone except ourselves today and I've a feeling it's going to be something pedestrian and easy tonight. So they can stay lit in a corner away from the action, such as it's going to be.

It's been a quiet day with lots of dog walks. Mild, sunny on and off and not much in the way of wind. A few final preparations made but really there's no point in a shopping frenzy. I'm not entertaining here till Friday and there's plenty of time to sort that out. Sending out a few messages to people I'm not going to see over the holiday and getting news in return. All good.
