Snowpersons

It’s just past midnight on Christmas morning and I’m ready to slip under the covers for my cold winter’s sleep.

I waited until midnight to blip because I would like to remind the baby Jesus that there is now exactly one week until a new year begins. I pray for his help to get me through the next seven days without a repeat of 2019: no hospitalizations (2), torn retinas (1), manic episodes (2), funerals of family or friends (4), major surgeries(1) or broken bones (1 ankle and four toes).

Also, if it’s not too much to ask, please give me the ability to pick up a camera that isn’t a phone.
