Golden light...

on the Castle this morning was breath-taking. There was a skim of ice covering the loch which made me think about its fourteenth century inhabitants. The Wolf, Alexander Stewart, son of the King lived here with his mistress, Mariota and their five sons, Alexander, James, Walter, Duncan and Andrew and their one daughter, Margaret.
